The Park
Named for the Sandhill Cranes that live in the area, this quaint little park is more than just a place to sit and watch the water. The dredged lake is encircled by one mile of walkways complete with benches and covered seating areas. It is also home to a European-style plaza with a choreographed fountain show and a 62-foot picturesque tower, as well as the Eddie Rose Amphitheater filled with stadium-style seating and a one-of-a-kind floating stage.
This is the place where families get together to spend quality time and friends come to relax and re-energize without having to deal with crowds of tourists. The park also hosts various events throughout the year for its residents, including Family Fest (a great alternative to door-to-door trick-or-treating), a Holiday Celebration, and an annual tree lighting ceremony.
The Plaza

The lake is encircled by one mile of continuous walkways and features benches and covered seating areas. The lake and the plaza are pet-friendly, but only in designated areas. Dogs must be leashed at all times. If you’re visiting with children, be sure to bring some bread for the ducks and turtles. It’s a great way to teach kids about water conservation. The park is closed to fishing during open hours.
