Tennis Courts
Tranquil green space around Red Bug Lake with tennis areas, soccer fields, a playground, fishing, and more. The park is considered the second-largest tennis complex in Orlando North and has hosted a variety of regional and state-level tournaments over the years.
The park features multiple outdoor and indoor courts. It also hosts a range of leagues and lessons. It is also the location for Seminole County’s Junior Grand Prix series. The program is a USTA Florida-sanctioned competition for Rookie, Local, Super Series, Designated, and Sectional level players sponsored by local USPTA teaching professionals.
Group tennis lessons for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, round-robin social mixers, and Cardio Tennis are offered year-round. Juniors are encouraged to participate in the local USTA 10 & Under QuickStart teaching format that utilizes smaller court sizes, low-pressure and slow-bounce balls, lighter racquets, and lower nets. The program is taught by certified instructors.

The Seminole County Sports Complex at Red Bug Lake Park is the location of a popular adult soccer league that welcomes men, women, and coed teams for winter, spring, summer, or fall league play. The facility also houses the second-largest tennis complex in North Orlando and has been a venue for a number of regional and state-level tennis tournaments. A beautiful park with a long walking path, playground, and even a zip line (which is cool for even adults)! They also have tennis courts, an outdoor fitness course, and a fishing pier. The park seems to always be busy with various sports leagues playing there. There is a large children’s playground and some pavilions to have picnics.
The park’s new playground features the latest equipment from GameTime, a Playcore Company. The equipment includes the patented Expression Swing, a ShadowPlay Sky Runner, and a new tandem swing for parents and children. It was donated by local distributor Dominica Recreation Products in memory of the company’s founder, Rob Dominica.
