For commercial examples it’s limitless such as breweries, restaurant bar areas, hair salons, kitchens, sterile environments such as labs and healthcare settings, veterinary offices, laundry areas and so much more. The Design Technician is a critical role within the company.  An effective Design Technician functions as a Sales Representative and Consultant and will leverage the power of the sales department and the company’s marketing efforts to drive new business.  The potential to grow and increase our customer base is limitless! Job Responsibilities & Duties May Include, But Are Not Limited to:  

Sales 

  • Prepare for estimates scheduled for the day. Have all necessary showcasing materials available.
  • Keep leads organized into the correct pipeline in Dunzo and HCP (House Call Pro).
  • Drive out to and conduct estimates
    • Understand concrete hardness test, moisture reading and why they are important to the customer and our value
  • Showcase and explain the different options available based on your understanding of what the customer needs
    • familiarize yourself with the ‘Connect, Discover, Show, Close’ model
  • Set expectations for the job and the outcome
    • clearly communicate the customer expectations to the Floor Technicians using tools
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Continue marketing efforts by putting up door hangers and yard signs on every given lead.
  • Door Knocking /clover leafing for every given lead.
  • Calling new potential customers in commercial businesses. 
  • Collect initial down payment for jobs won.
  • Stay up to date with trends in the industry.
  • Give feedback for developing systems and processes for streamlining workflow.
  • Pay accurate attention to details.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills passing information to the admin.
  • Fluent with social media platforms for marketing and engagement.

Customer Service

  • Maintain a very friendly demeanor and a high level of professionalism when dealing with customers/Ensure customers are given all the information they need.

Wise Team requirements

  • Participate in monthly team meetings along with team building activities.
  • Engage frequently with technicians to continually improve the customer experience.
  • Take HireBus quiz for personal development and behavior discussion (10 minutes or less).
  • Routinely review data with manager on closing rates and areas of success and growth.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Sales experience preferred but not required
  • Energetic, positive, passionate about art/coatings/clean garages and new spaces and making our customers 100% satisfied

Compensation & Benefits

  • First 30 days (or less) are hourly pay during an initial training experience.
  • After 30 days this position will be a commission salary. Potential of $50,000-$85,000 or more annually depending on what YOU want to make of it!
  • Bonuses for weekly and monthly targets.
