Parking

The City of Sanford offers parking options for both short-term and long-term visitors. Rates for long-term parking range from $7 to $10 per day, while rates for short-term parking are $2 per hour.

Street parking is plentiful throughout the Downtown area. Some of the best free options are found along Park Avenue and 1st Street.

The City also recently added a new paved lot on the southwest corner of 2nd Street and Palmetto, which provides quick access to the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center. The Civic Center and Chamber of Commerce lots are also rarely used and offer plenty of free parking.
