1. Gemini Springs Park
Gemini Springs Park is the starting point for Volusia County’s Spring to Spring Trail, a multiuse paved path that will link several state and county parks with natural springs. The 26-mile path will be ideal for walkers, joggers, inline skaters and bicyclists.

2. DeBary Hall Historic Site
A magnificent 19th century hunting estate overlooking the St. Johns River, DeBary Hall Historic Site is a National Historic Landmark and Volusia County landmark.
The property’s 8,000-square-foot hunting lodge is an Italianate style that was constructed in 1871 to be the Winter retreat of Frederick deBary, a European wine merchant who settled in Florida. It became a center of sport hunting and hospitality.

3. Green Springs Pathway
Green Springs Pathway is an easy, paved walk that takes you through old growth palm hammock and beneath massive Southern magnolia and sweetgum trees in a mix of bluff forest and floodplain. It also crosses a wide spring-fed streamlet where citrus groves are often in the background.

4. Lake Monroe Park
Lake Monroe Park is a beautiful place to spend a day. The park offers boardwalks, boat ramps, camping and fishing docks, picnic areas, playgrounds, nature trails and a volleyball court.
The park is also home to a new bike path extension that parallels US 17-92 across the St. Johns River, making it a great option for joggers, walkers and cyclists looking for an easy out-and-back ride.
The southern leg of the St Spring to Spring Trail – named for Volusia County councilwoman Pat Northey – is 2.5 miles protected from paved roadways and provides ideal access to Gemini Springs Park. 5. Lake Beresford Park
Gemini Springs Park is a 210-acre public nature park located on bayou northwest of Lake Monroe. Located within the Lake Beresford Greenway, the park includes over 8 miles of paved hiking, biking trails and another 4 miles of hiking trails through pristine woods.
A 1.8-mile paved loop around the perimeter of the park connects to the Spring-to-Spring Trail which allows patrons to walk, run, skate or bike three miles down to Blue Spring State Park. Two nature trails in the northern portion of the park are open for those who prefer a more natural hiking experience.
6. Blue Spring State Park
Located in Orange City, Blue Spring State Park offers swimming during the summer and a chance to see hundreds of manatees during the winter. Plus, you can camp and hike all year long.
There is also a new paved bike trail that is just outside the park entrance called the Spring to Spring Trail. It is a great way to explore the area, especially if you are staying in Orlando for a while and want to escape the theme parks.
